As fans will know Zachary Quinto once had a recurring role in 24 season 3 as Adam Kaufman, and some time ago I bought the DVDs cheaply and have been slaving my way through it in deep agony. Because shit, can a TV show get any worse than this, seriously? I didn't even mean to cap anything from it, but then in episode ... eh, I don't even remember, 20 or something? ZQ had a tiny little plotpoint to himself in which he got to be teary-eyed, and Ela said she wanted caps.

I frankly don't think Zachary Quinto is objectively pretty even on his best days. I don't mean to say I don't find ZQ attractive, because I do, but I think ZQ is just not so much handsome as he's quirky and charming, I guess. His Sasan was completely lovable and I adored him although I normally dispise the "gay BFF" cliché, because Sasan's personality was just generally adorable and suited him, and the role meant ZQ could laugh and be snarky and generally funny. Adam Kaufman, however, is not very charming or quirky. The nature of the series means he's seeeeeeerious all the time, doesn't get to wear funny clothes, doesn't smile (sardistically or snarkily or cutely or otherwise), and as a result, Adam is definitely one of ZQ's worse days in my opinion. But anyway ...

The plot. Basically there are some terrorists who have a virus and it's been spread to the population. Chloe (some computer tech girl) has just found out that Adam's sister has been infected, so she tells Tony (their boss) about it and he goes to Adam to pass the bad news on.

I originally just meant to cap one of his outfits from this show, namely a shirt so ugly Mohinder wouldn't be caught dead in it, but then as I watched the show again to cap it, I saw that Sasan (ZQ's character) actually had a lovely wardrobe and I thought it unfair to represent it only with that one shirt.

I dreamt of two things today.
• Someone posted HD caps of the season finale, but when I looked closer the caps were solely of Nathan.
• Mohinder went to lunch with Matt but couldn't eat anything because someone had bitten through his tongue and lips.

It's kind of a running joke in fandom that if God created man in his own image, God much have been a SMOKIN' HOT Indian dude. I'm certain this will make more people in fandom want to convert to Christinanity, but I'm not sure it'll be enough to scare us off the porn. Probably not. Especially since the smokin' hot Indian dude is -- duh -- naked.

I'd make a Greg/Sendhil picspam next if it weren't for the fact that an excellent one exists already.

When the whole "is Zach gay?" (not Quinto, the other one) debacle was happening, I read about Thomas Dekker saying it wasn't that he minded playing a gay character, seeing as he'd played one several times including when he was twelve. My mind went "wtf" at this, but it turns out he wasn't lying: in 2000 Dekker had a guest spot on Grosse Pointe playing Leslie Chupak, a gay boy who is the biggest fan of one of the male stars of the teen drama they're shooting on the show, and won an essay contest where the big prize is a date with said male star, Johnny.

And he's freaking adorable.
