Did someone write laundry fic, or did the laundry just randomly turn you on?
I could see it going any number of ways--raunchy dirty laundry fic, or romantic clean warm-and-freshly-dried laundry fic. Stripping down in the laundromat, apartment neighbors meeting in the laundry room, riding the spin cycle.

Jenn (i.e. the usual suspect) wrote something in which Sendhil was, quite literary, folding laundry. I swear nothing happened with or on it. He was just ... folding laundry.
I think it was probably the domesticity of it, like how the idea of Sendhil being a father turns me to mush. Or it could also be that I get turned on by Sendhil merely breathing.
