Apparently amazon.co.jp has switched their local delivery company from DHL to FedEx.
The same FedEx who spent one week looking for the place I live and still claimed my address was for an “unknown” location, although they have a billboard ad right outside my window. I should get you photographic proof. It’s been there for weeks now.
FUN!
In other news, I’m scared of looking at my bank account.
amazon.co.jp: Hey, the estimated shipping date’s here but a bunch of these books are in backorder — wanna cancel them, or wanna wait a bit with payment and shipping?
me, two weeks ago: Oh hey, that’s perfect! I need to buy a bunch of birthday presents! And send a bunch of big packages! And treat people to sushi! You just hang in there, thanks!
amazon.co.jp: Hm hm hm.
me, a week ago: Still nothing?
amazon.co.jp: Nope!

amazon.co.jp: o hai, we shipped and billed your order.
me: D:
my web hosting company: oh hai, we billed you for next year automatically, kthxbai.

Yeah.
It’s not that I’m afraid there’s no money left, but I just know I have taxes I need to pay, when time comes. Auuuuugh. I want new boots and a coat … *sniff*
eta: Oh right, I also bought a premium account at MU on impulse. Go me.
